Bobby,Tony and many  others of the great crooners. Listen as Rob and Geoff  
bring to life the music and songs of the ratpack era.

Swing is performed by using vocal and music
arrangements that use rhythmic ‘riffs’  Developed in the 1930’s
after the 20’s Dixieland styles, swing gave the melody an added
depth.  Band instrumentation changed in the 30’s the rhythm led
by a piano, bass, and drums.  Swing was the king in New York
and throughout the country, from it came jive and boogie-woogie
and the jitterbug or bop, a great source of touch dancing that
disappeared in the 60’s and 70’s.  Swing produced the ‘cats’ and
‘kittens’ or hep-cats  fans in their millions.  Now in America there
are jiving-swing dancing venues with members in their  
20’s and 30’s learning the fun of partner dancing once more.  
So put your glad rags on and come on in and join the fun, as the
song says, ‘It don’t mean a thing if it aint got that swing’.

Rob and Geoff as the vocal duo Back to Back swing, now
together for over four years have performed in
Theatres, Clubs, hotels, Lounge bars, and restaurants.
They Have a large repertoire of music containing swing
and big band, Rock n roll and jive - 60’s and 70’s including
party dances - Cockney style sing-along.

music featuring songs from the era’s of rock n roll and jive -
hit music  from the top groups of the 60’s / 70’s -
the great rat pack songs of the 40’s and and 50’s from
Sinatra and Martin plus the songs from the swing
era presenting the songs of Bobby Darin  and
Johnnie Ray - Continuing with the smooth ballads
of the Platters, Nat king Cole and many others -
or a cockney night of fun and singalong. -

WEDDINGS

background to listen or to dance and to entertain the guests whilst they have their reception drinks
or photo’s taken.  We can also cover the whole evening with background and party music mixed with
